In a meeting with the Deputies of Maku Free Zone Organization, the Indonesian ambassador said: Maku Free Zone is one of the important free trade zones and with its many capacities in various sectors can be the basis for strengthening the relations between Iran and Indonesia.
According to Maku Free Zone news site, Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro, at the beginning of his visit to the economic and investment projects and tourism capacities of Maku Free Zone, in a meeting with the presence of the Economic and Investment Deputy and the Cultural, Social and Tourism Deputy of the Organization, added: Maku Free Zone has the a good potential for cooperation in the production and export of products, especially coffee to Turkey and Europe.
Announcing his readiness to promote and develop economic relations with Maku Free Zone, he added: In the meeting we had recently with the governor of West Azerbaijan, it was also mentioned that this province has many potentials that can be used in the framework of joint cooperation between the two countries.
The Indonesian ambassador added: Due to the strategic location, there is a lot of scope for various economic, transit and environmental cooperation in this region.
The Ambassador of Indonesia in Iran stated: We are ready to expand relations and sign a sisterhood agreement between West Azerbaijan and one of the provinces of Indonesia.
Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro and the accompanying delegation then visited the production, export, cultural and tourism capacities of Maku Free Zone.
